Allie began working at Tender Touch shortly after graduating from Iowa State University with a degree in Animal Ecology.  In college, she worked as a laboratory animal caretaker for the USDA, completed a zoo internship, and volunteered at a wildlife rehabilitation facility in Guatemala. In the future, she wants to become an exotic animal veterinarian to ensure creatures of all shapes and sizes receive the compassionate care they deserve. “Love the unloved” are words she lives by.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking, and hanging out with her pets. She has two snakes, two salamanders, two millipedes, a hedgehog, and a colony of isopods.
