Dr. Rose Barr was born and raised in Oklahoma City, but she moved to Denver when she was 18 years old. After obtaining a BS in Chemistry she attended and graduated from the Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a one year internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital and in 2010 Tender Touch had the good fortune to woo her.
Exotic travel interests Dr. Barr, and the craziest thing she has ever done is fly in a microlight aircraft (often called a lawnmower with wings) over Victoria Falls in Zambia. She likes the saying "We'll just have to figure it out" and she likes the word "pickles", but she is not as fond of the word "poise" because of the way it sounds.
Dr. Barr's pets include her kitties - Silly (who is actually quite grouchy), Big Red (the party animal), Racer X (he's shy), Maude(our little sweetheart) and Wun (the bottle baby) as well as Yokai, an Australian Shepherd/Heeler mix. Oh yea, she has a husband named Lindsey too.
When making personal decisions (but not medical ones!) Dr. Barr uses a magic 8 ball. If she doesn't like the answer it gives then she knows in her heart what the right answer should be.
