Julie hails from Omaha, Nebraska and spent some time growing up (she says that she is still growing up) in Colorado Springs. Her nickname is Rockstar, and anyone is welcome to call her that at any time. Julie graduated from the Bel Rea Institute in 2001 with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology. Currently she is attending Metro State College studying Journalism and Cinema Studies.
The saying that exemplifies Julie's life is 'Everything happens for a reason.' She likes the word 'serendipity' and dislikes 'sure' because it is not informative enough. Her father is her hero. Julie has a full household which includes an 11 year old Cattle Dog named Kobe, an 8 year old Boston named Betty, a 2 year old pound puppy named Charley, two sons named Ewan and Ronin and a husband. Having children is the craziest thing Julie has ever done, although climbing Mt. Kenya is a close second.
Julie likes being a veterinary technician because of the variety of things she gets to do. She also likes the fun environment and working with many different people.
