Michelle Smith, Veterinary Technician

Michelle earned an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology from the Bel Rea Institute in 2000 and has been working as a technician ever since. She loves everything about her job except for anal glands. Also known as Chelle, Mitch, and Missy, Michelle is a Denver native (Go Overland Trailblazers). Her hero is her mother with whom she shares a weekly margarita at the Rio. Koda and Whiskey are her dog’s names, and Caleb and Kenya are the names of her feline friends. Her favorite word is turbid, least favorite is abuse, and the saying that exemplifies her life is “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”. When asked the craziest thing she has ever done, she replied that it hasn’t happened yet but it will be skydiving-tandem of course.
