Kari Moore, Certified Veterinary TechnicianKari Moore, Certified Veterinary Technician

Kari was born in Wichita, Kansas and grew up in Kansas City. Her nickname is now Spanky (stop laughing), her favorite word is "your mom" and Lynette Woodard is Kari’s hero.  Before attending veterinary technician school at Bel Rea, Kari studied sociology and philosophy at both Ottawa University and Kansas University. The craziest thing that Kari has ever done is to “borrow” her dad’s minivan when she was 14 years old and she wrecked it. She claims that she is not a bad girl, but ….

It was hard to get Kari to give information for this biography because she doesn’t like to be put “in a box”. (that philosophy education is coming in handy) The saying that exemplifies her life if is by William Cronon: “In the end, it turns out that liberty is not about thinking or saying or doing whatever we want. It is about exercising our freedom in such a way as to make a difference in the world and make a difference for more than just ourselves.”.
