Hannah Dischinger, Technician Assistant
Hannah has been a special part of Tender Touch Animal Hospital since she started volunteering here when she was only 13 years of age. She is now a fabulous technician assistant and we miss her when she is away at the University of Oregon studying neurobiology with the intent of going to Veterinary school. Next year she will be a resident assistant at the university and she thinks signing up for that position may be the craziest thing she has ever done. We call her Hannah Jay and she was born and raised in Denver. Her heroes are Betty Williams and David Sedaris, her favorite word is “chemiosmosis” and her least favorite word is “crusty”. She lives by the saying “What I look forward to is continued immaturity followed by death” by Dave Barry. She says she lives by this but she happens to be very mature so she may need a new saying. Hannah has one kitty named “Sam I Am”. She keeps coming back to Tender Touch because she likes the people and feels like she grew up here. Other than animals, Hannah’s passion is music and she is a late night DJ at the university.
